Introduction
|
Welcome
to Kingsley St. John’s School, a village primary school in the
centre of Kingsley providing a Christian education for children who value the ethos
and character of the school
in both the village and further a field.
We are proud of:
- Our
sustained high level of academic attainment
- The
support and extension opportunities provided to enable all children
to make good progress
- The
wide range of educational visits provided across the year including
residential experiences and after school clubs
- Our
commitment to providing children with a broad, challenging and
creative curriculum
|
But
we also offer…
- Small
class sizes to provide individual pupil attention and support that
includes two specialist teaching assistants to work with children
across the school.
- A
Full time Before and After school Link club ON SITE that takes
children from 3 and is available during school holidays
- Close
links with the ON SITE Community Nursery taking children from 2 that uses our extensive grounds and facilities
- A
family atmosphere that promotes self-esteem and confidence. In our
most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2007, personal development and
well-being was rated as ‘outstanding.’
This
was echoed by our Church Diocesan inspection in July 2007.
