A very busy few weeks

Life has been pretty busy in recent weeks.

Unfortunately, Miss Coote has been absent from school as she is unwell at the moment.  We wish her a speedy recovery.

Mrs Hudson is also poorly at the moment.  We all send our love to them both and hope they are well soon.

So there have been some new faces around school, Miss Burn has settled in tremendously well and is well-loved by the children in Class 2.  We have all been very impressed  by her professionalism and care - she fits our school ethos very well.

I have accessed some training days looking at moving from good to outstanding, understanding a government document called Raiseonline.

Staff training has included Autism Tier 1 and Tier 2 training, safeguarding basic awareness and mixed media artist courses.

I have also been working with colleagues in the health sector looking at developing mental health and emotional wellbeing across schools and imroving outcomes for children.  This is an aspect of pupil development that I feel very strongly about and will continue to work tirelessly to ensure that children develop positive mental health and well-being.
